Town Council. Ratification of membership of the Montecity-Rogoredo ADP supplementary act approved
Milan, May 27 2021 – The City Council approved the ratification of the adhesion of the Municipality of Milan to the Supplementary Act of the Montecity-Rogoredo Program Agreement, together with the Lombardy Region, Milano Santa Giulia SpA and Esselunga SpA, which will allow the Santa neighborhood to be completed Giulia.
The act provides for the planivolumetric reorganization of the area with a remodeling of services for the neighborhood. In place of the conference center, the PalaItalia will be built, a fundamental structure for Milano Cortina 2026, which will subsequently become a new facility for music and sport. Furthermore, an equipped park of approximately 365.000 m33.000 will be created (XNUMX mXNUMX more than in the previous Agreement), new schools of different levels, a museum for children, a library, a new headquarters of the Conservatory, residences (ers, affiliated and free) , commercial activities, offices and neighborhood shops.
The route of the tram connection between the Rogoredo station and the future M4 Forlanini station has been modified to preserve the pedestrian areas already created. Finally confirmed, in addition to the tramway, the redevelopment of the Mecenate junction and the Paullese (which is reduced to a single lane), both supported by the plan's resources and no longer by the municipal budget.
