Milan, November 29 2019 – In the spaces of MIND, Milan innovation district (former Expo area) in Rho-Pero, on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December Re panettone will return, the traditional appointment with the great leavened product of the holidays, to celebrate the history, interpreters and creativity of panettone artisanal. The 50th edition of Re panettone will be made unique by the presence of over XNUMX master pastry chefs who will propose their originals and interpretations of the most beloved Christmas dessert. 

The master pastry chefs, coming from all over Italy, will exhibit their artisanal creations and will share all the secrets of their art with the public. The panettone on display can be purchased at the special price of 26 euros per kilo, a particularly competitive cost that allows everyone to bring a very high quality product to the table at Christmas. 

Many new features await the public such as the presence of a large Euro-Toques delegation led by its president, the great Enrico Derflingher, from 15pm to 17pm on Sunday 1st December in the Meeting Area. The prestigious association of chefs, who inspire their activity by values ​​such as authenticity and tradition, territory and quality and the fight against food waste, will also be represented by Gianni Tarabini and Tommaso Arrigoni, both starred, Fabio Silva, Giorgio Sanchez, Nicola Ferrelli, Cristian Welcome. Each chef will prepare approximately 25/30 single portions with panettone as a common element and offer them to the public present.

The performance "Can panettone be ethical?" will take place on Saturday 30 November, curated by the light-hearted but inflexible authors of Eat.MI, an ethical gastronomic critical guide to Milanese restaurants, with Valerio Massimo Visintin, the famous faceless critic of Corriere della Sera , Jacopo Viganò, Aldo Palaoro and the students of the Writing with taste course.
 
Over the course of the two days, the cooking shows of the winner of the Panettone world championship, Alessandro Slama from Ischia, will alternate with that of the television chef Max Mariola, face of the Gambero Rosso channel, that of the famous pizza chef-pastry chef Renato Bosco and that of Nicola Ferrelli , Euro-Toque of Milan with the Apulian soul. Naturally the master pastry chefs present will not hold back: you will be able to attend Attilio Servi's Artist's Proves, a welcome return from Pomezia (RM); by Alessandro Marra from Cantù (CO); by Antonio Daloiso from Barletta (BT); by Roberto Cosmo from Giussano (MB).

There will also be the "I PanGiuso Award", supported by Giuso, which offers recognition to the best panettone and the best innovative leavened product; the “Crescendo Workshops” for children aged 8 to 13, curated among others by Angelo Grippa from Eboli (SA), which can be booked on the site, and the quiz “A panettone for those who know panettone. And Milan”, which will offer sweet gifts for the public.
