Milan 12 November 2020 – While waiting for the debut of Artigiano at the live fair, the first platform exclusively dedicated to Italian artisans, online from 28 November, Ge.Fi. Gestione Fiere SpA announces for the Milanese public the opening of the first temporary Artigiano shop at the live fair, inside the historic municipal market in Piazza Wagner thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Milan.

The choice of the Wagner covered market is strategic, as it is located in a place that is the reference point for food purchases in an area adequately served by public transport. Already manned by historic Milanese shops, the Wagner covered market has an ancient tradition and represents the ideal context to host a selection of Artigiano In Fiera live agri-food products.

“We are happy that the experimentation of this new Artigiano format at the live fair saw its genesis in the Wagner covered municipal market, a sign that the long work done by the Administration to redevelop and enhance the network of municipal markets, from simple sales structures to places of social aggregation for the neighborhoods, is proving to be effective - explains the councilor for employment policies, productive activities and commerce of the Municipality of Milan, Cristina Tajani - Skilfully combining online sales and direct sales to the public can prove to be the key to success for events like this but also for historical realities such as the covered municipal markets, which by combining tradition, innovation and sociality can find their own dimension and identity in the Milanese commercial and distribution panorama".

The shop is a real showcase of only a small part of the vast offer of artisanal agri-food products which will also be available online on the Artigiano in Fiera live platform, starting from 28 November: a great opportunity for real and in-depth knowledge of the artisans, through textual stories , photography and video.

Artigiano in Fiera live temporary shop will follow the opening hours of the covered municipal market in Piazza Wagner: every Monday, from 8:00 to 13:30, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:00 to 13:30 and from 15:30 at 19pm.
