Tajani: "Deferral of municipal taxes and land occupation to encourage the resumption of activity"

Milan, 29 April 2020  - “We are close to the requests and concerns expressed this morning by the owners of bars, restaurants and public establishments who have symbolically handed over the keys to their activities to the Administration so that it can raise the Government's awareness of the problems and difficulties that one of the strategic sectors for the economy of the city and the country". Thus the councilor for employment policies, productive activities and trade, Cristina Tajani, who she met in Palazzo Marino a delegation of Milanese restaurateurs.

“As an Administration – continues Tajani – we are already deploying all the tools within our competence to support the restart of this sector: from the reduction of land occupation fees for those who put tables and seats outside their activities up to the extension of Tari and other municipal taxes. The keys should be taken over by the Government and the Region which through their measures can guarantee a faster reopening of activities".
