Commemoration of the deceased. City cemeteries open from 8am to 18pm
Milan, October 27 2018 – The extraordinary opening of all city cemeteries is scheduled for Monday 28 October and Monday 4 November.
Furthermore, to facilitate the large influx of citizens on the occasion of the Commemoration of the Dead, all cemeteries will remain open from 8am to 18pm every day from tomorrow, Monday 28 October, until Monday 4 November, with the possibility of accessing the structures for up to 30 minutes before closing time.
The side doors of the Maggiore cemetery will be open from 8.30am to 17.30pm.
The Muggiano cemetery will remain open until Sunday 3 November from 8.30 to 11.45 and from 13.30 to 16.30. The Shrine of the Fallen, in Largo Caduti Milanesi per la Patria, will remain open from Thursday 31 October to Monday 4 November from 9am to 12pm and from 13.30pm to 17pm.
On Friday 1 November and Saturday 2 November the circulation of visitors' private vehicles within the cemeteries will be permitted from 9am to 12pm, with the exception of the Greco Cemetery and the Monumental Cemetery, where it will not be possible to access with private vehicles.
