Public housing. The Tenant Portal is online, a new tool for checks and reports

Rabaiotti: “Important simplification process to improve the relationship with those who live in public housing”  

Milan, May 29 2021 - The Tenant Portal is online on the MM website, a new digital desk dedicated to those who live in public housing owned by the Municipality. The desk adds to the tools for contact with tenants, starting from the telephone contact center, typical of the multi-channel logic adopted by MM from the beginning. 

“An important process of speeding up and simplification is underway - the councilor for social and housing policies Gabriele Rabaiotti intervenes - aimed at increasingly improving the relationship between tenants, MM and therefore the municipal administration. This modernization effort anticipates, in public housing, a relationship management system that is only found to a limited extent in private homes and condominiums. This does not mean giving up the direct relationship with people and families, on the contrary it will allow us to free up resources, time and energy to give new impetus to the social change that MM and the Municipality of Milan must now interpret with courage and attention".  

Each tenant will be able to access the reserved area through Spid (Public Digital Identity System), which allows secure access to the online services of the Public Administration and participating private entities, with a pair of personal credentials (username and password). Furthermore, also in anticipation of the activation of the Portal, MM started a Spid registration campaign last January, which can be carried out at the counters of the local offices at no cost to the applicants. 

Access to the Portal will allow consultation of contractual information, requests for administrative and technical support being managed, appointments at the counter, all notices and dedicated communications from the Municipality and MM. 

You can also report any problems relating to your building and your apartment, as well as download unpaid bills. 

Later it will be possible to check the entire personal accounting situation, make electronic payments and start possible procedures online, such as those relating to rent revision, hospitality, expansion, takeover.
