Milan, June 23 2022 – The ranking of the 2022 rent support notice has been published, a measure desired by the Municipality of Milan to help tenants with a contract registered for at least 6 months and an ISEE less than or equal to 26 thousand euros to cover the costs of the rent.

There are 13.530 applications deemed suitable out of the total 14.280 sent to the platform set up by the Municipality of Milan. The requests will be settled, based on the score in the ranking, following a positive outcome of the investigation and until the total funds made available are exhausted, currently equal to 4.777.261 euros.

The tender provides for the disbursement of a maximum amount of 3 thousand euros which will serve to cover up to 8 monthly payments. The contribution will be paid directly to the owner of the accommodation for unpaid or unpaid rent.

In the two-year period 2020-2022, a total of 10.810.308 euros were made available between European, state and regional resources which have made it possible to support 7.420 families to date.
