Milan, January 1 2020 - The first Italian New Year's Eve on the theme of sustainability was held last night with great success. Many Milanese and tourists flocked to Piazza Duomo to celebrate the arrival of the new year with 20.000 registered presences, thus reaching the maximum capacity allowed in the square. A party full of fun with the music of Myss Keta, Coma Cose, Lo Stato Sociale and the Billboard social DJ set. An evening in which important topics such as sustainability, the environment and the future of our planet were addressed together with the presenter Filippo Solibello, speaker of Rai Radio 2, Ludovica Azzali director of Radio Imagineria and the activist Federica Gasbarro, the only Italian chosen from the United Nations to represent his generation at the UN climate summit and General Assembly. An event offered by the Municipality of Milan to all citizens, whose organization was entrusted to the company Artificio23 which proposed and developed the creative idea, and made it more sustainable also in the production aspects thanks to the support of Legambiente and the help of Amsa , Amat, A2A and MM who participated in various capacities in the project with their activities and practices oriented towards eco-sustainability. Furthermore, thanks to the L'Impronta and Cetec associations, the stage scenography will have a new life through its reuse.
Particular thanks go to the media partners who contributed to the success of the evening including Rai Radio2, the official radio station of the event, which with its live broadcast brought the Milanese New Year into the homes of all Italians.
