Milan, October 3 2019 – There are 27 initiatives that have been awarded the overall contribution of one million euros, allocated by the Administration as part of the 2019 Neighborhoods Call. The ranking has been published on the website of the Municipality of Milan.

Open to foundations, non-profit organisations, tenant committees (if established as an association), voluntary associations, social, sporting, cultural, food policy and environmental sustainability promotion associations, both individually and in partnership forms, the tender was met with great success. interest, collecting a total of 111 proposals.

The Neighborhood Call represents a central and strategic moment in the development of the Neighborhood Plan, with the aim of contributing to the regeneration of the city's neighborhoods and their liveliness by co-financing social, sporting, recreational, environmental and cultural activities in each of the 9 city ​​municipalities.

In each municipality, three projects will be carried out, selected on the basis of two priority themes identified by the municipalities themselves.

Each project will be able to access a maximum co-financing of 40 thousand euros and must be completed by the end of June 2020.

From 2017 to today, through the three tenders dedicated to the redevelopment of the neighborhoods, the Administration has invested a total of approximately 2,5 million euros.
