Milan, September 10 2021 – A new sports center available to citizens, with a 25 meter swimming pool, large green spaces dedicated to the summer solarium, two gyms and a relaxation area directly overlooking the pool. It is the Parri Mengoni in the Bisceglie district, in the Fontanili park, inaugurated today and already open to the public.

The Parri Mengoni swimming pool is made up of a single building on three levels: basement, ground floor and first floor. The basement is accessible by an external staircase, and shows the structure of the tank and the technical rooms for water and air treatment.

On the ground floor there is the reception with access to all the rooms used by staff and customers, including the fitness gym and related changing rooms; on the first floor there are the rooms of a second gym, the staff changing rooms and the balcony, as well as technical rooms and warehouses, all areas which can also be reached by lift.

Access to the pool is via three mandatory passages, one located at the exit of the women's changing room, one from the men's locker room, the other at the instructors' changing rooms. 
The tub area contains 1 tub measuring 25x12,5 meters. The depth of the tub varies from 120 cm to 150 cm.

The new center will therefore be functional to the lives of the many families who populate the new area around the park, in strong urban expansion, but also of the numerous workers who take the M1 to get around in Bisceglie every morning and evening: they will finally be able to train before or after work in the immediate vicinity of the metro station and car parks.

It will not only be the world of swimmers who will appreciate the new structure, but also lovers of land-based fitness and relaxation. In addition to swimming courses for adults and children and aquatic fitness, in fact, the sports proposal includes a product much loved by the female population: two gyms, one complete with cardio fitness and isotonic materials, the other intended for free body courses.

The courses in the gym accompany the rich offer of courses in the water for adults and children and of course the possibility of purchasing single entrances and subscriptions for free swimming. In the summer the large garden hosts deckchairs, tables and a small bar to relax in the sun after a few laps.
