Balance. Financial education with the Bank of Italy: the last public meeting on Thursday

The series of seminars on savings and investments organized by the Municipality for citizens ends

Milan, October 2 2019 - Last meeting for 2019 of the cycle of conversations on financial education organized by the Municipality and the Bank of Italy and open to citizens. On Thursday 3 October from 15pm to 17pm, in the meeting room of the Civic Accounting Office, in Piazza della Scala 3, experts from the Bank of Italy will meet citizens on the topic of "saving, investment and debt choices".

After the institutional greeting by the budget councilor Roberto Tasca, there will be an introduction on the tools and social returns of financial education. Then the topic of investment choices and the financing needs of families will be addressed, with a reflection on the current trend which would see the push towards simplification prevail.

The topic of saver dissatisfaction with their bank's services will also be explored in depth, with particular attention to the role of the banking and financial arbitrator. And before leaving room for the debate, the "Report on the economy of Lombardy" will be presented: in which the experts will provide data and methods to read the current trends.

Coordinating and animating the seminar will be the director of the Milan branch of the Bank of Italy Giuseppe Sopranzetti, followed by interventions by Luca Bianchi, Alessandra Mori and Paola Rossi.

This is the last appointment of the cycle of meetings that took place in March and June which saw a large participation from citizens. Bookings are also fully booked for this last meeting.
