Milan, June 20 2019 - The collective signing of the first Collaboration Pact in the Adriano district takes place today at 18.30 pm at the "Real Giardino" in via Brambilla, in the presence of the councilor for Participation, Active Citizenship and Open Data Lorenzo Lipparini.
The Pact, i.e. the instrument that allows collaboration between citizens and the Administration in the care and regeneration of common goods, will be signed between the Municipality of Milan, three individual citizens, the social promotion associations "ViviAdriano", and "Amici Casa della Carità". ” Onlus, the historic Real Crescenzago sports club, which has the concession of the garden space and the A. Abriani “Casa della Carità” Foundation, manager of the flowerbeds in via Brambilla.
The objective of the Pact is the dissemination of good management practices for common spaces, in particular through shared care and the creation of aggregative and inclusive activities for the community in the green areas of via Brambilla and in the garden where the event is taking place today, a new place born from the collaboration of the different realities of the neighborhood.
The Real Giardino space was identified after a long process open to citizens and local associations, promoted by Lacittàintorno, thanks to its Luoghicomuni action, and with the support of Labsus and Italia Nostra Nord Milano, in a process that saw several phases from the mapping of the neighborhood to the shared redesign of the identified spaces. The space was the subject of a physical redevelopment and social redevelopment intervention, thanks to a group of active citizens and the associations involved, to then be made available to all by the Real Crescenzago Sports Club which decided to open this little used area for the entire community of the Adriano district.
Over time, the intervention involved, in addition to Viviadriano and some individual citizens, the Casa della Carità Foundation and the Amici di Casa della Carità Association to promote inclusive activities for the guests of the House, mainly refugees and people in difficulty of reintegration.
The restoration, care and animation activities of these spaces, which began last April, have allowed its transformation into a new neighborhood place, within which training, aggregative and inclusive activities on the theme of gardening and horticulture will be carried out.
The Adriano district also has its first collaboration agreement - comments councilor Lipparini - which involves many local entities coordinated by Labsus and Italia Nostra as part of the Luoghicomuni project of the Cariplo Foundation. The presence of local activators who work in synergy with the municipal administration to identify, promote and nurture agreements for the regeneration and shared care of collective open spaces is giving great results. Through the Common Goods Regulation, proposals are flourishing in every municipality from citizens and associations who care about their neighborhood and want to concretely contribute to the care, protection and vitality of the space in which they live".
