To reduce inconvenience to citizens, counters have been set up in other areas of the municipal building

Milan, January 9 2020 – The last phase of work is starting in the municipal building in via Larga 12 to adapt it to anti-fire regulations.

From tomorrow, Friday 10 January, the central hall of the Registry Office will be closed to the public, but all services will remain active and will be provided in other spaces of the building specifically created to minimize inconvenience for citizens.

In particular, in the Multiservice hall on the ground floor, 11 desks have been set up exclusively for issuing the CIE (electronic identity card), while in the adjacent spaces five desks dedicated to appointments for foreign citizens have been placed.

Room 44 (entrance from via Pecorari) is dedicated to the issuing of registry certificates with six counters.

Room 19, on the ground floor, is back in operation, available to citizens with special requests that cannot be resolved at the counter.

On the first floor, room 101 has activated four counters dedicated to registry procedures (residence, declarations of cohabitation, authentication).

All movements are appropriately reported by the poster present inside the building and the reception staff is available for any information.

The info points in via Larga and via Pecorari will remain in operation also for the provision of tickets for access to services.

Compliance work is expected to be completed in February.
