Milan, 16 December 2021 - The exceeding of the first fine dust threshold in the city was certified today by ARPA and published on the Lombardy Region website. Therefore, starting from tomorrow, Friday 17 December, the first level temporary and emergency measures will be active in Milan for the improvement of air quality and the reduction of PM10 as established by the Air Plan of the Po Valley and the Lombardy Region.
Temporary and emergency measures are triggered when PM10 concentration levels exceed 50 μg/m3 for four consecutive days and are activated by the day following the control day (Tuesday or Friday). They will be in force until the criticality levels are verified.
