Environment. The thermal season ends in April
If temperatures require it, it is always possible to turn on the boilers
Milan, 19 April 2020 - Last Wednesday the thermal season ended which opened on October 15th and allowed the heating systems of buildings to be turned on for a maximum of 14 hours per day.
In the presence of climatic situations that require it, it is always possible to turn on the heating even without express authorization from the Municipality. In this case the daily duration of switching on cannot exceed half of that allowed from 15 October to 15 April: in Milan, therefore, the systems can be activated for a maximum of seven hours.
Even in the event of extraordinary switching on, the maximum temperature values set for the rooms must be respected, equal to 20° C in residential buildings.
