Milan, May 23 2023 – A delegation of the municipal civil protection left Milan headed towards the provinces of Ravenna, Forlì and Cesena to check with the municipalities affected by the flood the needs to be met immediately in the wake of the emergency. The Municipality of Milan immediately made the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI) available to provide all the aid requested.

ANCI Emilia Romagna carried out a very first reconnaissance and therefore asked the national ANCI to activate, first of all, Milan and Florence for a more precise analysis of the needs in the most affected territories and in particular in an area that includes five unions of municipalities : Fontanelice, Castrocaro, Conselice, Cesena and Faenza.

The five unions bring together a total of 40 small municipalities and it is precisely starting from the smallest centers that the monitoring activities of technical and administrative needs will be concentrated, fundamental to ensuring responses to the needs of the territories hit in recent days by floods and landslides.

Following the monitoring and findings, a second delegation will depart from Milan.
