Milan, August 31 2019 - The weather center of the Lombardy Region has issued a code yellow weather alert (ordinary criticality) due to the risk of strong thunderstorms starting from 20pm tomorrow, Sunday 1 September, with a worsening of the situation from the afternoon/evening and gradually increasing phenomena probable late in the evening and on Monday. 

For this reason the Administration has arranged for the activation of the Municipal Operations Center (COC) in via Drago, starting from 20pm tomorrow. The Municipal Civil Protection will monitor the hydrometric levels of the Seveso and Lambro rivers and the radar to verify any exceeding of safety levels. In addition to the Municipality and Civil Protection, the local police and MM water services take part in the COC.
