"The talents of women". The scientific committee decides to extend the schedule until spring 2021
Milan, May 5 2020 - The scientific committee of "Women's Talents" - the cultural program promoted by the Municipality of Milan | Culture with the aim of proposing throughout 2020 a multidisciplinary path on the protagonism of women in the various disciplines of creative thinking - met today to evaluate the next actions in light of the changed context due to the ongoing health emergency and decided to extend the initiatives and activities related to the program until April 2021.
The decision was taken in order to be able to reschedule the activities that had already been planned and which could be carried out starting from next autumn and, above all, in consideration of the fact that the current emergency has further highlighted the absolute necessity and urgency of considering the contribution of women in all aspects of the social and political life of our country is fundamental, starting from scientific research and medical-health care activities.
The scientific committee of "The talents of women" intends to make a contribution in this sense, starting from its next meeting, to the document "Milan 2020", the platform of proposals and projects opened by the Municipality of Milan to collect suggestions for the subsequent phases of reopening the city.
