"Contemporary Day". Saturday 11 December free entry to the Museo del Novecento and the PAC

On the occasion of the 17a edition organized by AMACI will feature online and live performances

Milan, 6 December 2021 – Performance is the theme of the "Contemporary Day", organized by the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums AMACI, which this year falls on Saturday 11 December. Milan participates in this event, which involves many museums throughout Italy, with special initiatives.

On Saturday 11th, the Museum of the Twentieth Century and the Pavilion of Contemporary Art (PAC) will be open to the public with free entry, offering insights and experiences live and online on the theme of performance.

The Museo del Novecento, in particular, will re-propose on its website www.museodelnovecento.org three performances created by Simone Forti, Adelita Husni-Bey and Paulina Olowska and presented live in Sala Fontana in 2017 and 2018 in collaboration with Furla series.

The PAC will instead present live the performance of the photographer and visual artist Giulia Iacolutti "Dopamine. A visual study on the hormones of love", a work on the gestures of affection, particularly linked to this extraordinary historical moment in which contact is feared and the ideal love has become a love "one meter away".
