“Sunday at the museum”. Two more hours (and reduced ticket) to discover "Leonardo never seen". The other civic museums are free

Milan, August 30 2019 – With over 140 thousand visitors in three and a half months of opening to the public, “Leonardo never seen”, the program of exhibitions and initiatives set up at the Sforzesco Castle to pay homage to the genius da Vinci on the five hundredth anniversary of his death, confirms its success by maintaining the second position among the most visited exhibitions in Italy (after the Venice Art Biennale) and the first in Lombardy.

To allow the Milanese and the increasingly numerous tourists present in the city to visit the exhibition and installations dedicated to Leonardo, every first Sunday of each month, until the scheduled closing on 12 January 2020, the opening hours will be extended until 19pm (ticket office closes at 30pm) with entry reduced to 18 euros.

The ticket reduced to 5 euros also guarantees entry to all the museums of the Castle, but the extension of the opening hours only concerns the Museum of Ancient Art which hosts the "Leonardo never seen" exhibition. The opening hours to the public of the other museums remain unchanged, including the Museo della Pietà Rondanini-Michelangelo, with the last possibility of access at 17.00 pm.
