AURORA PETTINAROLI, Winner of the Composition Competition 

Winner of the 1997th edition of the GAM European Composition Competition in Milan with the piece “Fabbriche”, inspired by the painting of the same name by Felice Casorati, Aurora Pettinaroli was born in 2015 and at the age of eleven she began studying the saxophone at the Egidio Rampone school in Quarna Sotto where she has collaborated since XNUMX to teaching the same instrument. Becoming more and more passionate about music, she decided to dedicate herself, at the same time to the saxophone, to the study of other instruments: she attended the Liceo Musicale P. Gobetti in Omegna studying violin, piano and starting to dedicate herself to composition which would become her main passion . She was admitted to Composition studies at the Guido Cantelli Conservatory of Novara studying with Marco Lasagna, Massimo Bertola and Emanuela Ballio, she obtained a first level degree in Composition with top marks; you are currently attending the level II course at the same Conservatory.
Alongside the study of composition he studies the saxophone by attending the three-year course with Roberto Favaro. In 2017 he won a scholarship for the second edition of the “Brusoni per la Musica” competition for young people, presenting a project related to composition. He combines his studies with a passion for pop music by composing and self-producing his songs. He still has an active self-produced album in 2023 entitled "Fermata Laggiù". He participates as a singer-songwriter in various competitions and his compositions are performed for "Contemporary Music Week", "Contemporary Autumn", "Brescia Music Festival", "Contemporary Itineraries", "Concert for the 100th anniversary of Ligeti's birth", “Music Circus: young composers compared”.

Among the most important song commissions entrusted to her: the project for ONU with the Associazione Musicamente di Brescia for the composition of a Suite of songs, in collaboration with other composers, performed in Piazza della Loggia in Brescia on the occasion of the "Music Festival" .

CATERINA NONNE, oboist

Born in 2004, she approached musical studies at an early age at the Vallotti music school. At the age of seven she began playing the oboe with Antonella Metrangolo, then she continued her studies by entering the pre-academic course at the Guido Cantelli Conservatory of Novara at the age of thirteen with Giovanni Brianti. At the same time she also attended the Novara musical high school with Antonella Metrangolo, where she graduated last year and, in the third year of high school, she was admitted to the three-year part-time course at the Novara Conservatory with Andrea Chenna who, seeing her interest in the world of theater and cinema (in 2020 she wins the SottodiciottoOFF competition with the short film "blue"), bringing her closer to composition, avant-garde electronic music and musical theatre. She participates in numerous orchestral productions. You are currently attending the third year of the three-year academic course at the Novara Conservatory.

LUCA AVANZI, oboist

He was born in 1963 in Milan, where he developed his artistic career together with Calderoni, Molino, Laganà and Garbarino, later perfecting himself with M. Bourgue and P. Grazzi. At eighteen, after having won the competitions of Cesena, Manta, Pavia and Venice, he was already first oboe in prestigious orchestras such as: Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala, European Community Youth Orchestra, Orchestra Nazionale della RAI and I Pomeriggi Musicali, playing with Abbado, Bernstein, Barenboim, Prêtre, Maazel, Giulini, Gatti, Sawallisch and many others. 
Since 2000 he has deepened his solo oboe repertoire. Many composers have dedicated their first works to him: Castiglioni, Molino, Gorli, Mosca, Gardella, Anzaghi, D'Adamo, Rivolta. He recently performed Carter's “Oboe sommerso” in the Italian premiere, Maderna's First Concerto at the Venice Biennale and at Milano Musica, Henze's Double Concerto, Festina Lente for oboe and Rivolta ensemble in the world premiere, Gardella's Livre d'Arabesques and in 2019 the Italian premiere of Francesconi's Second Concerto. He recorded for Stradivarius, both music from the 900th century and from the Baroque period.
For some time he has dedicated himself to baroque and pre-romantic music performed on period instruments. She is currently an oboe teacher at the Milan Conservatory and since 2000 she has been an oboist with the Divertimento Ensemble.

JACOPO ZENDRI, accordionist

Born in 2003, he began studying the accordion at the age of thirteen with Cristian Ferrari and Fabio Rossato at the Bonporti Conservatory in Riva del Garda. He continued his studies with Samuele Telari, Walter di Girolamo and Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi and participated in masterclasses with Claudio Jacomucci, Friedrich Lips, Dario Flammini, Germano Scurti, Massimiliano Pitocco, Vojin Vasovic, Geir Draugsvoll and Yuri Shishkin. In 2021 he won the XVII International Accordion Competition of San Vincenzo la Costa and the “LAMS-Matera Prize” musical performance competition. He currently studies composition with maestro Nicola Straffelini.

MATTEO TRENTINI, accordionist

Born in 2001, he lives in Mezzolago in Valle di Ledro. He began studying the accordion at the age of eight at the Scuola Musicale Alto Garda and Ledro with Marco Buccio, experiencing his first approach to the accordion and the popular folkloristic repertoire. He attended the “A. Maffei” and at the same time the Bonporti Conservatory, both in Riva del Garda, under the guidance of Fabio Rossato. He studied with Samuele Telari, Walter di Girolamo and Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi. He has participated in masterclasses with Friedrich Lips, Dario Flammini, Germano Scurti, Massimiliano Pitocco, Vojin Vasovic, Yuri Shiskin and Owen Murray. He is currently attending the three-year academic accordion course at the Bonporti Conservatory. He is part of the Città di Arco Accordion Orchestra with which he collaborates as an accordion teacher and teacher of the youth section of the orchestra.
