The following categories are entitled to a reduced ticket:
• adults who have reached 65 years of age
• university and fine arts academies students
• employees of the Municipality of Milan
• citizens of the European Union aged between 18 and 25; the same reduction applies to citizens of non-EU countries "on condition of reciprocity"

Free entry
• the first and third Tuesday of the month from h. 14.00pm
• the first Sunday of each month
For the first Sundays of the month with free admission it is not possible to book

On all other days free admission is only for the following categories:
• children under 18 years of age
• high school students
• teachers accompanying school groups (max. 4 per class)
• disabled people and companion
• officials of the State Superintendencies and peripheral bodies of the Ministry
• tourist guides and tourist interpreters (by showing a valid license)
• members of ICOM
• holders of the Lombardy / Valle d'Aosta Museums season ticket
• holders of the Tourist Museum Card season ticket (3-day cumulative ticket)
• holders of the Esselunga coupon (to be presented directly at the ticket office)
• holders of the "museum voucher" of the Bank of Asti

The Gallery of Modern Art adheres to the following museum circuits:

Tourist Museum Card

La Tourist Museum Card offers free entry to all the Civic Museums for three days (one entry to each museum) in the following locations: Archaeological Museum, Museums of the Sforzesco Castle, Museum of the Twentieth Century, Museum of Natural History, Museum of the Risorgimento, Museum of Palazzo Morando, Aquarium, Gallery of Modern Art. It is on sale online at www.vivaticket.com and at the ticket offices for €12,00.
On the occasion of exhibitions with a surcharge set up within the museum itinerary, the Tourist Museum Card allows entry by paying an addition of €5,00 at the ticket office.

Milan Card. Museum 

Milan Card. Museum it is a subscription valid for one year from the time of purchase which includes free entry to the Civic Museums of the Municipality of Milan in the following museums: Sforzesco Castle Museums, Museum of the Twentieth Century, GAM - Gallery of Modern Art, Civic Archaeological Museum, Museum of Natural History and Civic Aquarium.
It also includes a 20% discount on tickets for the exhibitions at Palazzo Reale, Pac - Pavilion of Contemporary Art and Fabbrica del Vapore 
They are always free to enter: Palazzo Moriggia | Museum of the Risorgimento; Palazzo Morando | Costume Fashion Image; Boschi Di Stefano House Museum; the permanent collection of the MUDEC Museum of Cultures
Cost: € 15,00

It's on sale: 
• on www.museicivicimilano.vivaticket.it in digital format, downloadable on smartphones and tablets without having to print;
• at the ticket offices of the following museums: Gallery of Modern Art, Civic Archaeological Museum, Museum of the Twentieth Century, Museums of the Sforzesco Castle, Civic Aquarium, Museum of Natural History. 
The Milano Museo Card is nominative and non-transferable. At the request of the control staff, it must be shown together with an identity document. 
In the case of exhibitions with a surcharge set up within the museum itinerary, the Milano Museo Card allows entry to the museum by paying only the supplement relating to the exhibition at the ticket office.
