To exercise the right to vote you must present yourself with a identity document and electoral card. 

The number of Councilors is set at 80, including the President of the Region.

The Regional Council and the President of the Region are elected at the same time, by direct suffrage attributed to competing provincial lists and to competing regional coalitions formed by one or more groups of provincial lists, each linked to a candidate for the office of President of the Region.
