Municipal patronage

What is advocacy?
Patronage represents a form of adhesion and support by the Municipality to initiatives or events deemed worthy, through the association of the Municipality logo.

Sponsorship is granted to individual initiatives carried out by:

  • public entities
  • bodies and associations in which local authorities participate
  • bodies, associations, foundations and other organizations of a social, cultural, educational, sporting, scientific, tourist or economic nature that operate without profit
  • other institutions and bodies that carry out activities relating to the institutional purposes of the Municipality of Milan.
     

The patronage of Municipality 9 is granted to initiatives that:

  • are oriented towards the growth and enhancement of the local community, its image and its products
  • do not have profit-making purposes
  • clearly identify the recipients
  • are carried out in the territory of Municipality 9.

Sponsorship always refers to the individual initiative. It does not extend to other similar or similar initiatives and cannot be granted on a permanent basis:

  • for initiatives that are repeated periodically over the course of a year, the period and duration must be specified
  • for initiatives that are repeated annually, the request will have to be reformulated every year.

When to submit the application?

  • The request for patronage must be submitted within the calendar year in which the initiative is intended to be carried out e at least 45 days before the event date
  • submission outside these deadlines could jeopardize the concession in time for the event.


To request municipal sponsorship:

  1. download and fill out the declaration and form available in the section Forms
  2. send it to Municipality 9 following the procedures indicated in the section Log in to the service.

Anyone who has a PEC mailbox can send the documentation to
comune9@pec.comune.milano.it

If you are not exempt from paying the €16,00 tax stamp, you must affix it to the first page and then cancel it before scanning the documentation to be sent. Furthermore, the "Virtual tax stamp fulfillment" form available in the section must be completed and attached to the documentation Forms.
