Each Council creates, within itself, a series of permanent investigative commissions, up to a maximum of six. These Commissions have the task of analyzing in detail the issues which, once included in the Council's agenda, will then be the subject of a vote.

Special Commissions may be established, the establishing resolutions of which determine their organisation, competences, powers and duration.

The Commissions operate in public session.

Citizens interested in participating must request an invitation by writing to: M.Municipio6AssistenzaOrg@comune.milano.it no later than 12:00 on the day
convening the meeting.
The maximum number of citizens admitted to the chamber is sixteen (16), invited based on the order of arrival of requests to participate.
