President of the Municipality

Caterina Antola

Democratic Party

I was born and raised in Milan: moreover, I have lived in the Città Studi area all my life, in the area of Municipality 3. A part of Milan that I consider beautiful and liveable, which can and must certainly be improved, but which in in any case it unites those who live there in a common sense of belonging and affection.

My birthday is May 13th, I am married to Fabio and I have two daughters: Maria and Laura.

After completing my high school diploma at Liceo Carducci, I passionately chose to study law at the State University of Milan where I graduated.

Since 1992 I have practiced law as a civil lawyer, in an associated firm founded and managed together with two other partners.

In 2011 I was elected Councilor of Zone 3, with the satisfaction of having been a Senior Councilor (i.e. having achieved the highest individual number of votes).

From 2011 to 2016 I was President of the Education and Public Instruction Commission within the Zone 3 Council. I had the opportunity to have an in-depth knowledge of the problems and scholastic realities of our territory and to have had positive and often exciting relationships with the network of citizens, parents, associations.

In May 2016 I was nominated by the centre-left as President and with the administrative elections of 5 June 2016 elected President of Municipality 3.

In October 2021 I was re-elected President of Municipality 3.

It is my desire to represent the citizens of the Municipality in their entirety, to interpret, in the spirit of the principle of subsidiarity, the closeness of the institutions to the people.

I therefore thank from now on not only those who voted for me, but also those who in the future, despite not having done so, will appreciate my commitment and my work.
