Yours, Cyrano
Milan, 26 April 2022 - Rostand's famous work in this fun interpretation suitable for everyone, to rediscover the true themes of the text such as love, the fear of not being accepted and resentment disguised as bravado.
The show will go on stage Friday 29 April 2022 at 21 pm, at the Teatro Blu in via Cagliero 00, and it is the story of Cyrano who, several years after the battle in which Cristiano died, finds the courage to confess the truth to Rossana in a letter.
Through this reinterpretation, the features of the sets and costumes become confused and sketchy, like a distant memory. The plot, although reduced, remains almost intact, while the last act disappears to leave room for an open ending, which does not place the emphasis on the protagonist's death and Rossana's pain, but rather gives weight to the real theme: courage of Cyrano to accept himself and confess his love without fear.
The music is central, entirely original and played live with a double bass, an electric guitar, some percussion and the voice.
The show, which lasts approximately 80 minutes, features laughter, emotions, action and even a pinch of magic.
