Citizens are invited to participate as part of the Milan Arch Week 2023, at the first evening of presentation and analysis of the results of the Adriano Area Study, Crescenzago, Rubattino, promoted by the municipal administration to provide a reference tool made up of knowledge, ideas and proposals, useful for guiding the transformations carried out by the municipality both directly and in partnership with other subjects.
The Studio thus aims to bridge the traditional gap between the strategies of the main territorial government tools with which the city has equipped itself (PGT, PUMS, CAP, etc.) and the individual urban transformations.
The future image advanced by the Area Study is based on a new urban infrastructure, composed of an integrated system of environmental and social interventions, connected by a structural network of mobility interventions. This vision must be capable of working on the minute neighborhood scale and at the same time have a metropolitan horizon, restoring an urban dimension to the quadrant.
To the urban transformations foreseen within such a social and spatial mosaic, first and foremost the Great Urban Function of Rubattino, the Reinventing Cities projects of Lambrate and Crescenzago, and some important building interventions, the Studio intends to overcome the restricted implementation perimeters and aims to trigger widespread regeneration processes within the surrounding neighborhoods, improving living conditions through a system of services integrated into the urban fabric and accessible by public transport, redeveloped urban welfare spaces, networks of services to support the populations and new social and cultural.
