The exhibition of the works of class 18C of the Liceo Caravaggio in Milan, curated by Barbara Cagni and Giuseppe Verga.

This exhibition was born from an educational path of Civic Education undertaken during the 2021/22 school year by the current 5C of the high school with a focus on Figurative Arts. The students interacted with the LIBER NETT reading group which has as its headquarters the cultural association BEL NETT (in Milanese "beautiful clean"), a space confiscated from the mafia and inaugurated by the COMIN social cooperative in Largo Fratelli Cervi 1 (viale area Monza), to offer social and cultural services to citizens.

After having illustrated the situation of the assets confiscated from the mafias in the Milan area, the Liber Nett reading group proposed two readings to the class: "Previsioni del tempo" by Wu Ming and "Corpi disgato" by Elisabetta Bucciarelli, as an in-depth study on the theme of echo mafias.
The students' reflections arose from these readings, which led them to produce the works displayed in this exhibition.

The RIFIUTO exhibition takes its title from a reflection on the illegal commodification of waste, and presents itself as "generational waste" by
students of illegality and the resulting environmental disasters.
