El Mercatel on the Martesana
Milan, February 29 2024 - Also for the year 2024 the Sunday market will be an unmissable event for lovers of small antiques, philately, stationery, curious objects, vintage items, artistic craft products and works, flowers, lace, books and old things.
For two Sundays a month numerous stalls will be located along the Martesana, from viale Rimembranze di Greco (bridge) to Cassina de' Pomm in via Melchiorre Gioia, non-professional and many for charitable purposes and managed by volunteers from the parishes or other voluntary associations.
The initiative is organized by the Amici della Martesana-Greco cultural association with the patronage of Municipality 2, and also includes the creation of cultural and social events throughout the year, aimed at the active participation of citizens on the issues of environmental protection and redevelopment of the Naviglio Martesana and its context, which will be promoted from time to time.
