The market of the grove
Milan, May 31 2023 - The Amici della Martesana-Greco association and the Proletarian Unity Family Club are organizing a day of celebration on Sunday 4 June 2023 in viale Monza/via Bertelli from 10am to 30pm, to promote and protect the Naviglio Piccolo and its context, one of the most important works of Renaissance engineering.
In the internal courtyard of the club in viale Monza 140 (former Boschetto Restaurant - photo on the right) a photographic exhibition will be set up to document the evolution of the Naviglio in recent decades.
Along the sidewalk overlooking the Naviglio a flea market of second hand and zero kilometer organic products will take place, an activity that took place on the banks where the boats of farmers and artisans moored, coming from the Martesana territories to sell their products.
