LIS Italian Sign Language Course

Milan, March 03 2023 - Within the project Teach me to dream, Municipality 2 presents the basic course of LIS Italian Sign Language, organized by theTurin Institute for the Deaf, and combined with a psychoeducational path to accompany parenting aimed at families, siblings, formal or informal caregivers, teachers and educators of deaf minors residing in Municipality 2, or attending schools in the municipal area.

The project will develop from March to December 2023:

  • the course will last 45 hours and will take place on the Zoom platform, with one live lesson per month at Cascina Cattabrega in via Trasimeno 49;
  • the path of parental and family empowerment, an interactive laboratory organized by theYoung Care Italia Association, will last 12 hours and will take place in person at Cascina Cattabrega, and will be divided into two parts: the first - from March to June 2023 - on the theme "The family dish"; the second - from September to December 2023 - on the theme “Bedtime Stories”.
