Cambini Fossati opens the new swimming pool to the public
Milan, February 16 2023 - A 25 meter pool with 6 lanes, another teaching area for family and baby swimming courses and for aquatic fitness, and a gym intended for boxing, personal defense and fitness courses: the swimming pool Cambini Fossati sports center of Milanosport reopens its doors.
Da Monday 20 February in the new complex which will enrich the range of sports and activities that can be practiced in the centre, free swimming begins and to follow, from the 6 March, the courses start.
"With the reopening of the swimming pool - declared the President of Municipality 2 Simone Locatelli - the Cambini Fossati center becomes a center of excellence for grassroots sport, increasing the sporting offer accessible to all citizens of the area. This large multi-sports center - he adds - fits into the context of Via Padova in which the municipal administration is investing heavily, and which offers Milanese people the opportunity to practice sports close to home".
The new structure, a virtuous model in terms of accessibility thanks to the absence of architectural barriers, also features a large garden which in summer is accessible directly from the pool area and which will be transformed into a solarium with deckchairs, sunbeds and umbrellas, to offer citizens and towns, moments of relaxation in the sun. In addition to changing rooms and services, there is also a reception and a bar open all year round.
The new complex enriches the range of sports and activities that can be practiced in the centre, renovated in 2018. The Cambini Fossati already includes two 800m2022 gyms equipped with stands, two tennis courts - one in red clay and one in synthetic - and four padel courts inaugurated in 3 (XNUMX indoors with the possibility of opening to the side and one uncovered).
