Milan, July 25 2023 - Following the violent storm that hit the city in the last few hours, the Municipality of Milan has prepared the closure of all fenced parks, and prohibits access to unfenced parks and open tree-lined areas.

Since last night, priority and urgent operations have been underway to clear the streets of hundreds of fallen branches and trees, to allow the restoration of traffic in the neighborhoods for public transport and private traffic.

Once the road emergency has been resolved, in the next few days we will intervene in the parks, gardens and green areas to remove the fallen trees and proceed with stability checks on the trees that are damaged.

For this reason, starting from this morning and until further notice, it is forbidden to go to green areas.

The local police patrols are at work together with the teams of the municipal civil protection, MM, AMSA, ATM and AVR, the manager of the city's green areas.
