REGISTRATION...

  • Registration for the courses is open to Italian and foreign citizens who are at least 18 years of age. 
  • Foreign students must present a photocopy of an identity document. Non-European Union citizens are required to produce a photocopy of their passport and residence permit/visa/renewal request receipt valid for the entire duration of the course.
  • Upon assignment of the course, students complete the registration procedure in the secretariat or sign the registration form in all its parts and pay the fee via credit/debit card. Upon request, a postal payment slip can be collected: in this case the payment receipt (certification) must be delivered within 3 working days from the booking date. The return can take place in person during the opening hours of the secretariat to the public or by email to the address of the office where you want to register, indicating "payment receipt" in the subject. Over 3 days. granted, the reservation automatically lapses and, even in the event of payment, you are not entitled to a refund.
  • Following the legislation in force if the student is unable to do so, even for serious and documented reasons, to attend the course, nothing is due to him as a refund. Any refund requests can be accepted only in cases in which the conditions foreseen for the course are no longer valid or are modified (non-activation or changes to the time/day of the course after registration).
  • Transfer to another course is possible, subject to availability of places, only with the prior authorization of the teachers or the secretariat, by completing the appropriate forms.
  • Il right of first refusal for enrollment in the following year's courses it is granted on the dates indicated on the website in June/July only to students who have taken the complete final test (all skills). Otherwise they will follow the process of external students.​​​​​​​​​​​​
  • Students who have taken the test with a positive result will not be granted re-enrolment at the same level or demotion to lower levels unless the waiting lists are exhausted.

FURTHERMORE...

  • The Centre's activities are scheduled from October to June. No courses are held in the summer months of July and August. The month of September is dedicated to entrance tests.
  • If not indicated at the time of registration, the start date of the course is published on the website https://www.comune.milano.it/web/lingue
  • The cost of the textbook used in the courses is not included in the registration fee.
  • Registration for the International Certification exams follows a particular registration procedure (with relative payment of a fee), which will be indicated in time directly by the teachers.
  • It is necessary to have attended at least 75% of the lessons in order to take the exam. Certificates of attendance will not be issued before at least 50% of the course hours have been attended.
  • In the event of absence of teachers, the secretariat will do everything possible to promptly notify students via email or notification to the contact details indicated by the student during registration.
  • Lessons suspended due to bad weather, strikes and any other force majeure will not be recovered.


PLEASE REMEMBER THAT...

  • In the internal courtyard parking - unattended - is permitted only to Center employees.  
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the internal and external perimeter of the building.
  • Cell phones must be turned off or silenced during lessons. Personal devices cannot be charged in classrooms.
  • Students are not allowed to use photocopy machines.
  • For safety reasons, access to the classrooms outside of lesson hours is only permitted in the presence of teachers or staff and by signing the visitor register.
  • During a training year, two evacuation drills are carried out in which participation is mandatory; all students and visitors are asked to review the routes to follow in case of emergency to reach the safe place.
  • By appointment, it is possible to arrange an interview with the Head of Office.
