The airport is well connected to Milan: the journey takes about an hour by car following the A8 motorway (Milan-Laghi, direction Varese, exit Busto Arsizio-Malpensa). Shuttle services are also available that connect the airport with the Central Station and Linate.
By train the connection is with the Central and Milan Cadorna stations, with the intermediate stops of Garibaldi and Bovisa (Malpensa Express). How to get to the airport.

Linate it is very close to the city center and there is a constant coming and going of people. By train

The city has numerous railway stations. Among these, Centrale and Garibaldi are a starting point for international trips and Lambrate and Rogoredo for regional destinations. Trains depart from the Central Station for all Italian and European destinations and the other two act as a hub for regional connections.
Furthermore, in the heart of the city, next to the Sforzesco Castle, there is the Cadorna Station, which is managed by the Ferrovie Nord group and represents an important regional railway connection.
The regional network, also used as a Passante Ferroviario, a line similar to an urban metro, uses numerous underground stations in the center of Milan such as those of Repubblica (metro M3), Porta Venezia (metro M1), Dateo, Porta Vittoria and Garibaldi Bypass (metro M2 – M5).
