Study abroad
General informations
Studying abroad is certainly one of the most significant experiences you can have because it allows us to interact with other cultures, to learn a foreign language, to make new friends, to mature, grow and become independent.
The opportunities are different depending on the qualification we have before departure. For some useful tips for going to study abroad click here.
In Europe for the recognition of diplomas and qualifications it is necessary to contact the Naric Centers of their country which provide information for practicing a regulated profession, award certificates for a period of study or training obtained abroad and provide information on the recognition of national diplomas abroad.
In Italy, the Naric center is the Cimea (Mobility Information Center for Academic Equivalences and recognition of qualifications).

A study holiday abroad is the best way to learn a language because you live in close contact with native speakers: the most "productive" solution is certainly full-immersion learning in another country which allows us to learn a more quickly 24 hours a day; it also allows us to come directly into contact with other cultures and have new life experiences.
Once you have chosen the destination in a country that you love or would like to know, try to understand if your budget allows you to leave and then decide how long it allows you to stay abroad.

Leaving to study for a year, a semester or a quarter abroad during the fourth year of high school is a unique experience both for linguistic and personal growth.
To get started you need to know a few small rules:
1. Male and female students of secondary schools (high schools) of any field of study (normally the year abroad takes place during the fourth or third class) who have a good average can participate. education and a sufficient level of knowledge of a foreign language.
2. During the stay abroad the student is hosted by local families.
3. The deadlines for applying for enrollment vary from destination to destination, but it is always better to move a year in advance, usually at the beginning of the third year of high school, in order to be able to start at the beginning of the fourth.
4. Italian law recognizes study abroad as an "integral part of educational paths" and the grades are valid for readmission to the school of origin and the final evaluation. However, the class council will decide whether to subject the student to supplementary tests for the neglected subjects; for this reason it is good to involve teachers in the proposal of the teaching plan to be followed abroad.
5. Prices vary depending on the length of stay and destination. However, promotions, discounts and scholarships made available by the organizing agencies are available
