Since 2010 Palazzo Morando | Costume Moda Immagine reserves some rooms on the first floor for the rotating exhibition of the rich heritage of costumes, clothes and accessories of the Municipality of Milan dating back to the XNUMXth and XNUMXst centuries.

The clothing exhibitions, limited for conservation reasons to particular moments of the year, aim to account for the peculiarity of the collection and the work of reorganizing and cataloging the deposits which is still in progress.

In recent years the collection has been increased thanks to donations and targeted purchases which have made it possible to enrich the heritage with big names in Italian and international fashion. In the rooms of the so-called «New Wing» the rich collection of clothes and accessories of the City of Milan is thus valorised through periodic exhibitions.
