I'm Erica Soana, I graduated in Sociology in Milan and in Criminological Sciences for Investigation and Security in Forlì.
During my university years, thanks to various internship and volunteering experiences, I specialized in organized and environmental crime. Among the most important experiences I remember that of working alongside some mafia prisoners in the study at the Milan-Opera prison and the research activity for Legambiente Lombardia on the topic of environmental crime. 
Once I finished my studies I carried out a second research activity on the phenomenon of environmental crime in Emilia-Romagna for the Municipality of Forlì and the Civil Service for the NGO Mani Tese where I worked for the advocacy and citizenship education office global. 

By studying and working on the issues of environmental, social and economic justice I realized how fundamental action from below and above is to achieve real change. For this reason I have become active at a political level and have been part of the national executive of the Young Green Europeanists for almost two years. I believe that listening and active participation of citizens is the basis of politics.
