A window on Africa
Milan, 28 October 2022 - The association Famiglie per Temporanea Accoglienza FATA Onlus, with the patronage of Municipality 7, promotes the initiative “A window on Africa”.
The initiative consists of an exhibition and experiential space to learn about objects and styles live Africans, you will be able to visit, touch and experiment with objects of various kinds, original to Africa and present in the museum, such as musical instruments, games, traditional clothing, batik and masks with the aim of creating a space for knowledge, discussion and integration.
For school groups, a second moment is proposed, within their own classes or schools, also lasting two hours, during which it will be possible to bring Africa into the students' daily lives. By rediscovering the importance of cultural values, it will be possible to help children on the path towards acquiring their own cultural identity, capable of understanding and accepting others as a source of growth and wealth.
