Milan, March 7 2024 -

The initiative sponsored by Municipality 7 entitled "Round table with debate on the importance of the school of architecture in primary schools” organized by architect Linda Poletti, will take place on March 21, 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00, in Milan at the AEM Foundation headquarters

The initiative was born following a project which involved two 5th grade classes
Luigi Cadorna primary school in Milan for a total of 44 children, lasting three months
with frequency once a week for a total of 12 lessons, period November 15th – 15pm
December 2023 and 15 January - 15 March 2024 in which children have the opportunity to learn about the many aspects that are present in an architectural project, thanks also to the contribution of
teachers from the Polytechnic of Milan who teach children the rudiments of the trade,
not only by entering their classrooms, but also hosting them in some laboratories of the University
and making them interact with students.
At the end of the course, an exhibition will be organized with the projects of the young creatives, as evidence of the result of this pilot experience, following which an extension is hoped
at other schools: the entire experience will be documented with photos and videos.

The initiative sees the participation of the AEM Foundation, Caldara association, Department
ABC of the Polytechnic of Milan, Order of Architects of Milan, Municipality of Milan - Education Department, AIDIA (Italian Association of Women Engineers and Architects).

At the end of the course, on 21 March 2024, in the AEM Foundation headquarters in Milan, in Piazza
