Christmas and poetry: magic together
The “Amici Cascina Linterno” Association, with the patronage of Municipality 7 of Milan and as part of the Program of Activities for the Second Semester 2021, invites all citizens to the afternoon of poetry in the ancient church of Cascina Linterno: “Christmas and Poetry: together one magic”, now in its VIII Edition.
The event will take place Sunday 12 December 2021, at 16.00 pm, in the small church of Cascina Linterno in Via Fratelli Zoia, 194 – Parco delle Cave – Milan and will be conducted by Giuseppe Leccardi, with the participation of poets and friends who will recite poems about Christmas both their own and those of famous authors, to rediscover the magical atmosphere together of the Christmas holidays.
The poets and poetesses will participate: Claudia Ambrosini, Margherita Bonfiglio, Giovanna Cimino, Paolo Colombo, Alessandra Corbetta, Giacomo Graziani, Giuseppe Leccardi, Riccardo G. Mereu, Alfredo Panetta, Donatella Rampado, Tito Truglia, Rodolfo Vettorello and Carlo Zanutto.
A convivial moment will follow with the exchange of greetings
The Poesia sull'Aia Group of Cascina Linterno wants to be open to dialogue and collaboration with all the cultural and social realities already present in the area while working, at the same time, for the good of this prestigious Place of Memory by sharing those strong connotative "roots" that characterize it such as its thousand-year "history", religiosity, agricultural vocation, the close link with the Cave Park and the exceptional nature of the characters linked to it such as Francesco Petrarca and Don Giuseppe Gervasini, "El Prét de Ratanà".
