It is often thought that the Middle Ages were a dark period. In reality, if you want to understand the Renaissance, you need to go back to the Middle Ages, the era in which the Three Crowns of the Italian language Dante, Petrarch and Boccaccio lived and where ingenuity developed many inventions.
As part of the initiatives to commemorate the 650th anniversary of the death of the Singer of Laura, CSA Petrarca remembers him with this interesting conference.
In the Middle Ages more people died than today due to pathologies that afflicted even great minds such as the Three Crowns. Today we have more adequate prevention and therapies for those diseases which often protect us.
