The Feast of San Martino and the ingenuity of Eugenio Villoresi

The "Friends of Cascina Linterno", with the patronage of the South Milan Agricultural Park and Milan Municipality 7, invite all citizens to the traditional Feast of San Martino and the “Linterno AgriCultura” Park Point, Sunday 13 November 2022 at the Church and Porticato delle Colonne of Cascina Linterno, Via Fratelli Zoia, 194 - Parco delle Cave - Milan.
Programme:
• 14 hours: 45 – guided tour of the suggestive Nature and Agriculture Areas of the Cave Park to discover the magical autumn "foliage". In collaboration with Mario Donadio;
• 16 hours: 15 – conference on the figure of San Martino and on the life and works of Eugenio Villoresi with the engineering marvel of the so-called “Panperduto” Dam, the point of derivation from Ticino of the Villoresi Canal and the Industrial Canal (later Naviglio Grande). Speakers: Iolanda Maria Gramegna, Angiolino and Gianni Bianchi and Gaetano Ciochetta
• Convivial closing moment with roasted chestnuts and hot drinks in the farmyard of the farmhouse
