> A year of cultivation, attempts and experiments in a small domestic vegetable garden: this book starts from the arrival of spring, from the preparation of the soil for sowing, goes through the progression of the seasons and ends with the end of winter, when life returns to silence and rest, to waiting for a new cycle. But it's not just a cultivation diary. However small, Barbara Bernardini's garden is the place where reflections on the environmental and climate crisis take place, and where its effects erupt, and it is the place where we can recover a connection with the earth, necessary to imagine our future.

From the garden to the world is a sincere and combative book. Dedicated to those who have a vegetable garden, to those who dream of starting one one day, to those who will discover they have a very green thumb and above all to those who, despite trying, will never even manage to make a bean sprout in cotton wool.

Barbara Bernardini was born and lives in the province of Latina. You have been working in publishing for almost twenty years. She edits a newsletter, Braccia Rubate, which talks about vegetable gardens and new moons. From the garden to the world (nottetempo) is her first book.

Followed by SEED EXCHANGE: bring the seeds of your plants and exchange them with the other participants.
