Saturday 23 April at 15,30pm a meeting entitled "Petrarchan curiosities" which promises to be very interesting for the topics covered:
Nerio de Carlo will talk to us about Petrarch and women, so we will get to know Laura, but not only that. The theme of Petrarchan women is generally limited only to the more or less real figure of Laura; in the relationship we will learn about new aspects of her relationship with the female universe;
Massimo de Rigo will entertain us about Francesco Petrarca and his relationships with the Fedeli d'Amore, the mysterious sect that united Italian poets in the 13th-14th century, a partnership whose contours are still not well defined but which offers countless ideas and suggestions;
finally Roberto Gariboldi will tell us about the bones of Petrarch, that is, the numerous and troubled adventures of Petrarch's body, the shrine of Arquà and the numerous attacks on the poet's bones and the mysteries that these bones have aroused over the centuries.
Laura Viganò will cheer up those present with intense recited readings.
