The Friends of Cascina Linterno, as part of the 2023 activity programme, invite all those in love with love to spend an afternoon in Cascina, on the occasion of Valentine's Day, for the cultural event: "Valentine's Day in Poetry and Prose” - at the small church of Cascina Linterno - Sunday 12 February 2023 - 16,00 pm - Via Fratelli Zoia, 194 - Parco delle Cave - Milan
But how did this party come about? What are its origins and traditions?
Here is the story and some curiosities: The origin of this festival has very distant roots and explains why Valentine is the saint of lovers, a martyr Christian bishop born in Interamna Nahars in 176 and died in Rome on 14 February 273
Poets and writers with short works on love can participate in the meeting.
The poems must not exceed 25 lines; short stories 7.500 characters including spaces. Registration by February 7, 2023 by email to: info@cascinalinterno.it
