Milan, March 20 2024 - The ORPHEUS cultural association organizes the show "Good birthday maestro Loforese" Wednesday 27 March at 16 pm, at the retirement home for
Musicians and Giuseppe Verdi Foundation of Milan, Piazza Michelangelo Buonarroti, 29.
The Retirement Home for Musicians and the Giuseppe Verdi Foundation is pleased to host this
initiative that wants to celebrate and remember the Milanese tenor on his birthday
Angelo Loforese.
Alongside renowned artists on the national and international musical scene such as the soprano Rossella Redoglia, the trumpeter Ettore Leccese and Michela Son on the piano, we will listen to young promises of the operatic world from all over the world.
The program includes famous arias and duets from the operatic repertoire and instrumental pieces (G.
Verdi, V. Bellini, G. Rossini, WA Mozart, P. Mascagni etc.).
The artistic direction is entrusted to Li Chenjie, president of the ORPHEUS e association
Master of Sichuan University of Culture and Arts (China) and the choir director is Hu Jianyu.
