La stagione NESSUN CONFINE, curata da Compagnia Carnevale allo Spazio Teatro 89, prosegue Il 14 December 2023 with the show BEN. Animali in captivity, scritto e diretto da Mariagrazia Pompei e interpretato da Marco Lo Chiatto e Riccardo Pieretti…con la simpatica partecipazione di Pino Strabioli.
A fun insight into the life of a couple who find themselves dealing with the concept of home during Christmas. This particular period of the year, in fact, is the celebration par excellence of bonds and, even if we decide not to celebrate it in a classic way, it places each of us face to face with the very meaning of family. Who is family? Christmas offers this young couple the opportunity to experience their desire to create and at the same time their ability to destroy: is it braver to stay or break up forever? Is it more responsible to continue fighting for the relationship or more honest to end a relationship in crisis? Primordial instincts and contemporary drifts, in the darkness, are discovered mixed in a crooked love, showing us the fragility of human nature, not far from animal ferocity.
In this rarefied Christmas atmosphere, poised between comedy and tragedy, the two protagonists will find themselves traveling home.
> Mariagrazia Pompei, attrice, regista e drammaturga, nasce a Roma e si diploma al Teatro Nazionale di Genova nel 2006. Procede il suo percorso artistico e di formazione lavorando con Emma Dante, Veronica Cruciani, Guido De Monticelli, Giorgio Gallione e molti altri. Lavora anche in cinema a fianco di Stefania Sandrelli nel film Astolfo, presentato alla mostra del cinema di Roma e candidato ai David di Donatello 2023. dopo aver ottenuto il Cerficat presso la prestigiosa École internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq di Parigi, fonda nel 2021 la casa di produzione MAGMA06 firmando principalmente testi e regia.
The NO CONFINE season is made up of ten events from October to April by artists and companies from all over Italy, who bring new dramaturgy to the stage, never presented in their definitive form in Milan. The season is sponsored by the Municipality of Milan Municipio 7. All shows start at 20.30 pm
