Expert panels
A panel of experts, to support the municipal administration to strengthen initiatives related to the city's memory and to provide assistance to the 'Milan is memory' Committee for the definition of guidelines, proposals and events, and the verification of texts, figures or plaques so that they are respectful of the historical facts of the personalities involved.
List of ten experts:
- Giorgio Bigatti, professor and director of the Scientific Committee of the Institute for the History of the Contemporary Age;
- Barbara Bracco, professor of Contemporary History - Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Milan-Bicocca;
- Marco Cuzzi, professor of Contemporary History - Department of Historical Studies of the University of Milan;
- Guido Formigoni, professor of Contemporary History - Department of Humanistic Studies of IULM University;
- Agostino Giovagnoli, professor of Contemporary History and History and Communication of the Present Time - Department of History, Archeology and Art History of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart;
- Ada Marchetti, professor and president of the Lombard Institute of Contemporary History;
- Paolo Pezzino, professor and president of the 'Ferruccio Parri' national institute;
- Giorgio Sacerdoti, professor and president of the Contemporary Jewish Documentation Center;
- Blessed Tobagi, doctor and researcher in historical subjects, as well as journalist and writer;
- Paolo Zanini, professor of Contemporary History - Department of Historical Studies of the University of Milan.
In recent years, on the institutional website, the municipal administration has spread the Memory in the city through the organization of numerous events and initiatives.
In 2021 the Milan Coordination Committee is Memory (chaired by the Chief of Staff, lawyer Mario Vanni and by the delegate to the Coordination of 'Milan is memory', Luca Gibillini) and the Panel of experts have started the activity to support the Remembrance aimed at the citizens of Milan.
